By using Recordio you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
Recordio lets you generate short pieces of music on your device, collect them, play them, and trade them with people nearby. One free record can be made per day; more can be unlocked with a subscription or extra-pull purchase.
Recordio Pro is an auto-renewable subscription priced at ¥300/month (or the equivalent in your region). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Extra pulls are one-time, consumable purchases. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms; refunds are handled by Apple.
Music you create with Recordio is yours to keep, play, share, and trade, and we claim no ownership of it. You are responsible for the prompts you enter. Do not use prompts that infringe the rights of others (for example, attempting to reproduce copyrighted songs); such prompts are not permitted.
Copyright in AI-generated music. Records are generated by an AI model from your prompt. In many places (including the United States and Japan), audio made without meaningful human authorship may not qualify for copyright protection, so you may not be able to claim exclusive copyright in a record. Generation is also deterministic: the same prompt and seed produce the same track, so your records are not unique to you and others may generate identical results. We make no promise that your records are protected by copyright or exclusive to you. Any rights arising from your own creative input remain yours. When you publish or distribute generated audio, please provide attribution as noted under Credits.
Records are traded directly between devices that are near each other, and only when both people accept. We are not a party to trades and cannot recover a record once it has been given away.
Use Recordio lawfully. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app, and do not use it to create or share unlawful content.
Recordio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. On-device generation may occasionally fail or produce unexpected results.
We may update these terms; the latest version will always be posted here.
